If You Want to Grow Spiritually

If You Want to Grow Spiritually, Do This Every Sunday Morning (Before Church)

1. Wake up early and thank God (Psalm 118:24)

Before touching your phone, thank God for the gift of life and the privilege to worship Him again. Gratitude opens spiritual doors.

2. Ask God to prepare your heart (Psalm 51:10)

Pray: “Lord, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.”
A prepared heart receives more.

3. Read at least one scripture slowly (Joshua 1:8)

Don’t rush the Word. Let it sink in. Meditation brings transformation, not speed-reading.

4. Repent and realign (1 John 1:9)

Confess anything that may block your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Alignment brings clarity.

5. Pray for your pastor and service (Hebrews 13:17)

When you pray for the servant of God, you position yourself to receive from God.

6. Speak life over your day (Proverbs 18:21)

Declare: “Today, I will hear God clearly. My spirit is open. My life will change.”

7. Cancel distractions (Matthew 13:15)

Pray against wandering thoughts, sleepiness, or spiritual dullness. Be intentional.

8. Ask for one specific word (Psalm 119:105)

Ask God for one instruction, one direction, or one correction that will move you forward.

9. Go to church expectant (Hebrews 11:6)

Expectation is the magnet for miracles. Don’t attend casually—attend believing.

10. Obey what you receive (James 1:22)

Spiritual growth is not in hearing alone, but in doing what God says.

FINAL DECLARATION:

Declare this boldly:

“From today, my spiritual life will not remain the same.
I grow in wisdom, sensitivity, and obedience.
I receive divine understanding and spiritual depth.
My walk with God increases daily, in Jesus’ name.”
